Default Daily runner?

How many of you guys use your turbo's as a daily driver or just use it on a daily basis? Mine is currently getting used every day but initially that was just to get some miles on the engine so i could get it set up properly,i make sure i warm it up properly from cold every time i first start it in the morning though,iv also got an XR2 which i should start using again to now stop puttin miles on the turbo

ive just started using mine everyday after getting it back on road, i drive it to work and pretty much dont use boost anywhere on journey mainly cause its too busy and when i park up i leave it on turbo timer for a minute or two.

My RST is 360 days/year garage under protective blanket.
It is also season registered so it is only in registration between June - August.
Hey it is old car and its not any way comfortable for regular daily use. I only drive it when sun is shining and is something special day like meeting or trackday. I have 2003 Bmw 325i m-sport II for daily driving.

I've been using my S2 everyday for some time in betwen some periods off road for doing jobs on it etc and it does show tbh
They really don't fair well in bad weather- if i get another or restore this one it will be fair weather/special occosions only- like already said they are old cars now after all.
It doesn't help i can't help driving mine hard whenever in the drivers seat- it wants top be on the boost all the time i tell you!

Same here too, daily driver since 2004 and running flatout nearly everyday at least for a couple of miles on my local "autobahn". 120.000 miles on the clock and still running just like if we were on the early 90s. (Or better! )

PS: I have a MX5 NB2 on the garaje too, it´s much more reliable than the Escort but it doesn´t have that "80s hot hatch" feeling. I always said "When i could have another car the RST will stay on the garaje untill the weekends" but it´s like an obsesion, i can´t wait to drive it.

My S2 has done 24k and has been in the garage all its life, seems a bit of a waste sometimes though, whenever I do take it out it gets the ass spanked off it and someday I might use it everyday, would hate to see it start to rust though.

I do take the train to work most days but I am a building Surveyor and often use it for work driving all over London. Its sits outside all year round and I wouldnt say its 100% reliable but nothing that bothers me and it always gets me home, the car has never had to be recovered.

I dont find upkeep to expensive either as I do all the work myself sometimes learning as I go.
