thats not bad matey but only 13bhp over standard is that coz its a van? my escort has a chip , exhaust, induction kit and a piper cam and is now running somehwere just under 180bhp

pass had it checked out when i bought it by colin and he siad it was running fine for standerd as b4 it was running 124@fly and 93ish atwheels but the above is all its had done apart from a rage b/box

dunno then mate just thought itd be at least 160 or something with a chip , -31 and exhaust but i dont know that much about engines so im probably wrong lol

Well mine is one of them cars! 154bhp@fly wheel.....149ft/lb of torque!

Tho right now since the mot and my emissions have been turned down..i can only muster 7psi! ..time for the rolling road.....again!

colins has set it so i dont blow it up as i have a vans 1.4 gearbox and would distroy it thats what hes said ,,,, #

No where else until you get to Plymouth but Colin at MFI is the chap for ERSTs round these parts. Get all me bit there cos he don't give you no bullshit and his RR figures are genuine (if low compared to others) .

He sets your engine up to give max power to reliabilty rather than peaking it and ignoring the fact it might blow up a few weeks later.

sounds good reliability is what im after, recently a friend of mine had his setup by a tuner in plymouth and a week later dropped a piston

ever heard of richards bros?? they reckon they can do it properly but they've not got a RR , and they are alot closer which is good as its running well bad

AJs, but to be fair the car had problems anyways, boiling water etc. but he still whacked the boost up to 15psi

theyre in redruth and are fuel injection specialists but not got a RR

rich bros are very good i deal with them through where i work but the do all cars cant knock them but colins is the best in our area for rst as he eats shits and breaths them

My rst is running 150bhp @10 psi. With magnex. magnecore leads k&n 159 pound torque its had a bottem end rebuild and is going on the rollers 2 check the power then have a chip /actuator should be 185/190 bhp.

aj's wouldnt go anywhere else,car was 188bhp chipped,k&n,pace cooler,piper cam,scorpion exhaust.3 years abuse and still didnt blow.

Get an RST one or even temporarily an XR2/3 one out a scrapper for fook all, make it better.

Would give it longer legs I.e. less revs at 80 in top but you'd lose acceleration. Peeps only really put em in v high powered ones (with plenty of lb/ft) to get a very much higher top end speed.
