Couple of places round my way would be about £500-£600 for that, throw in another £100 and they would do the inside as well.

Dont go for a cheap paint job as you will only regret it, spend as much as you can afford on a decent job that you will be happy with.

Just because its a cheap price doesnt mean its a cheap job, i went with the garage near me because i had a long look at a few examples of his work.

if your worried about getting it painted, just look round the cars they have painted and are working on.
make sure they do use primer, seen some garages not even bother with primer.

£1200 should get a decent place with the reputation of a good job done.
but as stated its not about the cost its how well they can paint.

Swinton - Manchester.

Its the only place i take my car these days they always do a brilliant job and for a brilliant price.
I went to school with one of the younger mechanics. The boss of the place used to own RS's in his younger days and still buys scrappers and rebuilds them, he has done a few S1 rebuilds and they were mint, not concourse but mint.

The reason i got a quote so cheap is i was just chatting one day and i said a mate of mine would paint my car for £1000 he said he would beat that. Iv had my wheels refurbed there as well and they were mint.

Best thing you can do is check out his work, call round out of the blue and see if he is spraying something. If he doesnt want you looking round, there must be a reason.

anything that can be removed by a novice will reduce labour, so do that, get the spoiler of too.

also if your good at sanding down and priming do that aswell.
