not hard and can be done in a couple of hours , udo need to make sure u keep the timing , best way is to mark the vernier pully with a marker , also idealy u need new head bolts and the only special tool is a torque wrench

bout £30 -40 for a head skim i THINK.
torque settings:
Stage1 25nm 18lb/ft
stage2 55nm 40lb/ft
stage3 tighten by a further 90degrees
stage4 tighten by another 90 degrees
(by stages it means do the head bolts in the correct order, then 2nd time, 3rd time, 4th time )
p.s. use NEW headbolts, NOT the old ones.
