S1 Actuator Adjustment
How hard is it to set-up/adjust the actuator? My car is producing too much boost and i am putting it down to
1. Actuator been played with by previous owner
2. Actuator failed is there a way of testing?
3. Wastegate jammed is there away of removing the actuator arm to see if the wastegate can be moved freely?
4. Does it matter how long the vacuum hose is that goes to the amal valve? Mine are on the long side as they were replaced

2. Not really, unless you remove it and work it by hand. Spring may be worn or snapped.
3. remove cirlip and wire (if still fitted) and simply slide off the wastegate.
4. I would cut it down if it's stupidly long.
Lengthen the rod to reduce boost and shorten it to up it.
Boost should be just right when it goes on the wastgate with little force. simply hook over.
