sweet, ive got my polished head and piper cam which arrived today and then i just need the bottom end and bolt it all together and slot in, new water pump, all new gaskets and shells etc then it'll go in. dont know what power to expect but it should be reliable (or have i jinxed myself there)

u got a bottom end already? as long as u look after it an remember its an old car it'll be as reliable as a wood burnin stove

yeah ive had 2 morris minors, a capri and a brief spell with an anglia so im not going to wreck the engine lol. nah still needing the bottom end but will source that when i can, probably going to be out a job in the next few weeks if things dont pick up so i need to watch what im spending on

i tell u wot mate im just building my new engine which will be done in a couple of months, if u can wait that long an are willin to get it picked up u can have my bottom end as i have a spare im usin to build my new one, only thing wrong with it is the mains have a very slight rumble when started from cold but has been like this over a yr an hasnt got any worse
