zvh timing
just got a zvh rs turbo . it pinks when u boot it and feels like it holding back. think it got the right fueling .could it be valve timing . how do u set it up . is it like cvh 12 before top dead center , no bottom timing marks because no cover thank .

This depends on alot of factors first, what cam is in it, has it got a vernier pulley, how far advanced is the dizzy set etc

you need to make a bent bar that goes over the pully and mark where TDC is, that's what i did with my zvh.
then you need to make sure the cyl1 inlet lobe is at full lift at 112degrees after TDC.
i'd be checking the valve timing, then the dizzy timing.
if the valve timing as too far retarded, it'll retard the ignition timing too, since they're related due to the dizzy being driven directly off the cam.
