ive bought an engine off a mate who says the tappets are a bit noisy!! its fitted with a piper cam and vernier pulley so what do you reckon i should do buy new tappets and will i get standard ford or is there uprated ones on the market cheers in advance folks

oh well il just look for standard ones then

 

You MUST buy a new Cam if you are buying new lifters!
Otherwise the old will rip the new to bits in minutes as they work harden together for the first 20mins or running.
