Hi i have fitted a new mearing head to my series 1 as the old 1 broke the car runs and revs on the spot fine but when i try to drive my car when i put my foot down it just wont go over 2k revs it just coughs and splutters any advice would be gratefully aprechiated!!!!

If you've fitted a new metering unit it will need setting up on the R/R, the fuelling will be wrong. You risk a meltdown if you dont mate!

i have had it to a place called turbo paks. they said that they had set up the fueling because before it went there it was back fireing and would only run for a few mins, they turned the boost right diown to 9psi when its been set up to 21.3 psi the last time it was on the rr. turbo pacs also said that the plug was off my fuel control sensor????? and that they had put it back on. im gutted as my car was currently running 213bhp before all this.
