Default intercooler question

if i was thinking of putting a S2 intercooler on my S1, is it just a case of getting S2 boost hoses aswell?.

i'm pretty sure it's a straight forward swap, but as said, you'll need the hoses as the IC has outlets at different angles.

isnt the front panel different on S1, so requires some trimming to fit the S2 cooler? and then theres the issue of the grille clearance etc

S1 has a full width Rad where as the S2 Rad is only about 3/4 of the size with the IC beside it, a S2 FMIC makes use of the space left by removing the original IC which you wont have as your Rad will be filling that space.
Not sure how that will affect your fitting but something to bear i mind mate.
