I bought the RMD front mount cooler last wk after speaking to them on the phone, i asked if i could fit the fans between the rad and cooler and was told yes. I also asked if i had to cut the bumper and was told no. Well who ever i spoke to quite obviously didnt have a clue what he was talkin about as the fans wont fit between unless the bumper is cut. Even then it is a well shit fit and was obviously designed for them to sit on the front of the cooler. I have seen loads of escort turbos on here with front mounts fitted with out bumpers cut and without fans on front so can someone please tell how it can be done? Im gonna sell this RMD shit and buy a GRS cooler as i have been told they are one of the best but will i have to cut the bumper? if so can anyone recommend a cooler where i wont have to and the fans fit in between the rad and cooler.

No bumper cutting needed.

 

ive got a GRS twin pass on mine in front of the rad with fans on the intercooler and this blows through both, you have to hollow out the bumper though, never ever have a problem with temps

I run the airtech set up, with 88 spec bumper, I had to trim the bumper in areas, nothing to drastic though
