Does anybody know of a supplier of ancillary hoses without the route of expensive silicone? (im at the end of a full engine rebuild and very VERY low on funds :s)

The main one on my s2 is on the brink of splitting in two places and badly needs replacing. However, I have tried motorcraft, motoserv, CAS and even ford directly to no avail!

There must be somewhere out there that still supply them surely???? please help!!!

In my experience, Silicone from someone like Roose is no more expensive than OEM. The bottom hose, for example, is something like £70 from Ford, I think!!

Buy Silicone, fit and forget!

I may have to just wait and save up some more pennies if thats the case.
Mind you the samco 3 piece set is only £75, go with the rest of my samco hoses that way.

Agreed. Had Roose on my Fiesta and they seemed much better than the Samco and SFS I've got on the escort.
