i have just bought my old sereis 2 back and im having problems with the lights.
when i first got it the lights would'nt work at all (other than the brake lights) so i bought a new stalk put it on and i now have indicators i can flash my lights but no side or dip (main beam) any ideas. i am going to check all the fuses and relays tonight also i am going to check the wiring under the bonnet.
i have herd of people re-wiring rst's how hard is it to do this?
Thanks

mine was doing this, ended up being dirty contacts in the fuse box. clean all the contacts (battery disconnected of course) with wire wool, sand paper etc. make sure they are getting a good contact with fuses/relays. should be ok.

The RST's have problems with the relays, mine does it too.
You need to buy some more, not sure if ford sell them, check all your bulbs and fuses.
check conection on ur lights, if there the wrong way around it wont work, obs!..
the relays get warm and brake inside so they don't work.

The relays i used to have issues with were the 2 white ones at the back of the fuse box. Think they cost about £12 each to replace. These relays power the headlight/driving lights.
Always check the obvious first tho....
