quick question on a s2?

quick question on a s2?
u know the 2 bonnet vents on the s2 escort.
have eny of you got 2 metal sort of plates underneath them. i got one on passengers side but didnt know wether u should have both because seems like water gets in too easy right near the altenator?
????

yeh iv only got one over the altinator which is good but when it rains i get water in my air filter

My one on the passenger side was supplied with the K&N cone filter to stop water dripping on it.

well i think im gna get one for drivers side too because it seems like too much water getting in.

Almost right, they both remove air to keep underbonnet temperatures down when stuck in traffic

They come on with the engine cooling fan, but i have a switch aswell

Those fans are pretty mint... where'd you get them from?
As for the vent plates, I have the one which came with the air filter,but you can get both sides from AS for under Ł20

Fans were designed and manufactured by me, have never seen any one else with them. I bought the fans from

Have thought about it but they take a while to cut out and smooth and make look good that the cost would be silly. I did sell the my mark 1 version on ebay last year had loads of watchers but they still didn`t make much.
