Default Top tip

after fitting my new nomad boost gauge i noticed that it flickered alot, found out this was normal as it is undamped, much like the racetech gauges

was told to take the gauge out, stick some welding rod up the nylon tube, heat it to shrink the apature, and this should solve the flickering

had an idea of my own and pinched the rubber tubing before the nylon hose, flicker ing stopped, 2 mins of fiddling and one tie wrap later the flickering has stopped and i now have a super smooth boost gauge

rory

Are your racetech gauges black faced with orange needles? if so where did you get them?

Does anyone know where I can get some reasonable quality gauges that will sort of match with the standard clocks?

Who is best for Autometer? everybody seems to be stocking the "ford racing" autometer gauges rather than the black faced ones!
