£100 for the calipers as they are, about £150 for the discs, £30 for the pads, £40 for the alloy for the brackets, not sure about the price for the brackets as he has not worked it out yet and my labour which is free to me

thats mad if i read that right a full ferrari brake conversion for under the cost of cossie brakes? Did you have to space anything out or did the brackets take all that into account? Im going to give my salvage mate a text to see what he got in the way of calipers!

top set up there mate, it looks the bomb... are they on the car in your sig with ronals? What size wheels and have you got any pics of the brakes with the wheels on?

You may find them on Ebay - in fact I think we have new unbranded ones on there at the moment but don't confuse them with the smaller sized Fiat / RS / Pug ones.

Got the calipers cheap off a freind and the pads and discs are new from our parts supplyers. The brackets are made for the car and they were milled/machined from alloy I bought of ebay no spacing was needed. I havent payed for the labour on the brackets yet as its only been done a week.

as for the wheels on the sig there Escort cosworth Monte wheels 16", same a cosworth 5 spokes (its an old picture). Now I have 17" Comp TH2's, im not sure but I may be able to 16"s over the new brakes i was going to try next time its on the ramp.

Heres a few pics;

they look the dogs bollocks mate, well done. I get free machining as thats what i do so i probably wont charge myself labour and the big company i work for can pay for the ally lol!
Im in the process of pricing it all up etc but my main concern is that I have some really nice diamond cut rs wheels on mine at the moment and although i will eventually upgrade to some rota slipstreams in black or white i kind of like the idea of keeping the ford wheels for a while but if i need to upgrade then im going to do it eventually anyways... what size for discs for 16's? I really want a mega squeezed in look lol! Or should i go to 17's?
