ABS on S2
I am wanting to get the ABS taken off my RST and I have spoken to a couple of people about carrying out the work. It has been suggested that i buy a master cylinder with the 4 pipes and compensator off an XR3 or any MK4 escort from a breakers so that this can be installed when my ABS is removed. Is this the usual way of doing this mod. Can anybody suggest where i could get this done i am near the Manchester area.

Personally i wouldnt go to all the hassle of changing all the pipes and master cylinder.
The way I would do it would be to remove the abs units from the car and where the pipes/hoses from the abs unit connected, just make a couple of pipes to reconnect them together.
Ive done this on 3 RST's now and each time, the brakes have been spot on!
