Default high torque starter motor???

brought a escort s2 on sunday. MINT. has been bored out to a 1.9. stuggles to bludy start, so annoying. when running the engine is sweet as a nut.

battery went flat and when RAC man came and jumpstarted it, it still took longer to start. drove it for atleast 45mins. left it for a few hours and tried it agen. SAME THING, struggled to start

think it might need a high torque starter motor.

eny suggestions or what starter motor i could use.

????????????????????

ive got a proper american tall block which is a 1.9 and like most cvh engines it cooks starter motors if they arent properly protected from the heat coming from the down pipe, if you do know for sure its the starter motor thats the problem then fit a diesel one as i did, cranks the engine over a treat mate.
