Ive started installing some electircs in my car during a restore. Installed central locking today but havent got any wiring diagrams and am left with a brown and a white wire that need connecting to the new alarm im going to install.
Also, the alarm i got has the facility the do the windows up when alarm is set. I have the wiring diagram for the alarm but what wires do i use on the s2 erst to wire to the alarm to do this? Obviously i have lectric windows. Dows anyone know the colour code for drivers and passenger side winodws up?

without knowing how your alarm works it will be difficult to say which wire to go to. the windows have green and blue wires going into the motor from the switch and work up and down by having the polarity changed. get full instructions for the alarm and a haynes manual which has all the wires and pin numbers. in my experience the red haynes book is "the daddy" as it covers s1 and s2 turbos and xr3i and is good for cross reference to make a hybrid loom (sounds good, but really to bodge s2 parts onto a s1 as s1 bits are too expensive or rare!!!! ive got a positive coming from my alarm that goes for 10 seconds when the alarm is set.

dont worry - decided not to connect the windows to the alarm.
