did this on mine the other day, apparently you suppose to do the furthest away first! so drivers side rear, passenger rear, then fronts... ;0) keep topping the fluid up obviously otherwise if it goes low youl be starting again lol...

so let me get this right,
-Make sure all wheels are on the gound. Open the bleed Valve. And no need to have the car running..
-Start at the rear passanger side.
- im using a bleed valve kit. And brakeLine spanners..

if you need to get the car up into the air to gain access to the rears, get some blocks of wood and pile them up safely and lower the car onto them to give you that extra 4 or 5 inches worth of clearance
just make sure you've got someone with you while you are wriggiling underneath in case soething goes wrong, never be too safe when you are under a car mate

hi
if your bleeding brakes on a series 2 then you start from front right then back left then front left then back right as you have to work diagonaly as thats how they are piped in
have the car sat on level ground with a full boot as this adds weight so the loading valves open more for better fluid flow
if you still dont get any better brake feel but i am sure you will i can right up the prceedure for you to bleed the abs pumps

You can put the brakes under load whilst on axle stands just make sure the load is on the suspension not the body. The brake peddle will never be great due the fact is runs through a mechanism accross the bulkhead with loads of slack in it.

they used a brace on some cars that just bolted into position to give you a virtual double thickness bulkhead which sort of solved the problem
anyone know any more about it as i'm sure i've read about it being fitted to cars with the same set ups, lhd cars with no room for the servo on the rhd versions etc
