Default gear problem

Ive installed the BnM short shifter with a new gear selector rod. However after the engine gets warm, it gets hard to get it into gear. When I try to put it into reverse it will always make a grinding and whinning noise. I've got an AP organic stage 1 clutch.

Will I need to get the mk5 pedal conversion to fix this problem? If so, what parts do i need?

Cheers.

They all grind a bit when going into reverse its just the clutch dragging slightly. If you have the AP clutch then the Mk5 pedal/quadrant will help as it pulls more cable for the same ammount of pedal travel (bigger quadrant) and will help the clutch disengage more.

The ford part numbers are on that link aswell.
