Default Max boost for Series 1 stadard Engine, IC, and Turbo?

As above what can you run a Stock S1 at?
I know 14psi is the limit of the IC before you get too high ACTs, but with the turbo not being water cooled can it run that boost??

Thanks!

the turbo will be fine my std s1 turbo unit runs 16 psi of boost, not being watercooled makes no difference to what boost pressures the turbo can take, u just have to allow the turbo more time to cool as it only has oil not oil and water to cool it

Just been thinking....... if the turbo not being water cooled doesnt really make any difference why did they water cool the S2's? As far as i can make out water cooling the turbo and making the radiator smaller is only going to increase running temps! Would it not be better for S2 owners to disconnect the water pipes from the turbo and have much lower running temps if it doesnt affect the turbo's perfomance?

Your thoughts please!

alot of people do take them off. from wot im awair when you disconect them you have to wate a few mins for the turbo to warm up on start up and when you stop you have to wate agan for the turbo to cool of befor switching the engine off. my mate xr2-si had a 2.1 zetec turbo in his xr2 he dident have them conected and never let his car warm up/cool down he did 5000 truble free miles be for he broke the car and the engine is still going in well in an escort
