Default Braking problems...

Hi guys, i have a S2 ERST and have come across a problem...which is a bit worrying!

I have recently swapped over to the ST170 braking setup on the front of the car, bled the brakes etc etc...however, now when i press the brake pedal while driving, the pedal goes towards the bottom and then i have to press again before i get a firm feel...

we have re-bled the system and there seems to be no air locks...

ne one had the same problem or know of a solution?

the ABS should be coming off tomo i hope so that might clear things up a bit?

You need to bleed the system with all the weight evenly to all four wheels (as if it was sat on its wheels - its hard to do if you ain't got a four post ramp or pit). Also if theres air in the abs pipes between the modules and the master cyclinder you'll need to press the two "abs bleed button" thingies on each module whilst someone else bleeds them - I'm sure the later haynes manual covers this. Its f'ing hard to do but can be sorted.
