the one in the boot will just keep turning m8 you will have to cut it off other side the nut to free it, the you need a new bit for the boot which has the thread on, i found i had to do the same with the other

Mark,

Was trying to think what that was from the pics....lol now I know. Yup, the boot one wont be suich a prob... I have been looking into the stainless steel jobbie AS do for about 50 sheets. It is a 3 peice jobby and it is a direct replacement I have been told, but I need to use my old flexi joints (rubber bits) I guess the ones on the pump itself, not the bit that fix's to the car ? Well I may well get that and see what I need, if not I suppose I can buy just the bit to bolt to the car as in ur pic mate

Thank's for your help guy's

Mark, Please see the below link for picture and details.... I was also told this from them:

Ref S2 petrol pump carrier our 3 piece carrier includes a 2 piece clamp which holds the pump then the outer section which bolts to the floor and holds the pump and its new stainless clamp without drilling new holes, all you need is to use your old flexi mounts ( 3 x small black rubber mounts) hope this helps.

look ,,weld a large washer inside your boot over the hole left after cutting off the rusty item,(halfords sell em),,then get a nylock nut+bolt through onto the cage rubbers,,for the one on the wishbone side,,,you could try cutting it + drilling out the remaining to replace with a threaded sleeve,,(for a new bolt),or carefully drill a small hole through the bolt,,and slip in a retaining clip,or a split pin, remember to be carefull as its petrol petrol petrol!!
