Default Shells

Going to have to reshell my Series 2 by the looks of it. Not a problem but good shells are hard to find.
Can anyone tell me if the RS shells were strengthend in any way (strut tops etc) compared to base model cars? Could I just get any mk4 3dr shell and not have to worry about it twisting or splitting?
Hard use and rollcage means it needs to be solid.
Thanks
