ok got a xr3i cabby tht had been converted to rs turbo,,,, the engines completely fucked beonwed repair,, mate has a full 1.4 8V cvh EFI engine sitting in his garage,
can i take the maifold of the rsturbo and use the metering head and injectors to change it to mfi, will the wiring be ok ?

so wil this work ?

please could someone get back asap as im seiosly thinking bowt fonin the local scrappys the moro haha

oooo i wont be using th 1.4 as a turbo, just a flat 1.4 8V to get it running again.

if you turbo the 1.4 probs just blow up!

and the inlet off the mfi wouldnt match up 2 the efi head!

wht he said!if it was an mfi engine then ya can,i ran my old 1.4 for ages on turbo running gear,minus the turbo!

so an efi head is completly different from a mfi ?
i thot ther wer the same but fuel rail and injector system different
owell

na, that why when peeps convert to efi they use the an efi head or get an adaptor plate for the mfi head to take an efi inlet, not tuther way round mate sorry!
