just bought an F reg S2 on Wednesday my mate told me about this forum so i thought i would have a look. I hope everyone will be a lot of help when it goes wrong. cos what ive seen on the forum it looks like its gonna cost a bit

now mate as long as youve got deep pockets and long arms youll be ok cos belive me they do throw there toys out of the cot now and then. but on the upside they are mint when running right.

I've always considered the RSTs quite cheap, as far as parts are concerned. Just compare to a cossie for instance. Anyhow 95% of the parts are interchangeable with the other lesser Escorts/Orions.

Hello and Welcome chap
Very regular oil changes/servicing is the best thing to keep the motor in good condition. Plan on every 2-3k miles if possible.
Also don't run it hard if you feel anything ain't right (such as pinking) and at least once a year a Rolling Road tune is a good idea.
