Just put a lightweight 6 pot kit under 16's on a sierra using ST170 discs.

Escort hub is not too far off that so it could be done too I guess.

but as above ive already got a hispec 325mm kit fitted which is just short of Ł1k complete so its which 16" rims would possibly fit over them thats the question to be honest as ive currently got 17" rims but would like, if i can, to fit a set of 16" instead.

thanks for your input anyway bud.

soz tony,

just to make it clear, to help people maybe help me lol. as the original question, i would just like to know whats the biggest brakes and disks that will fit underneath 16" rims, ive got 325mm disks and billet 4 pot calipers on my rs and im currently using 17" rims but id quite like to drop down an inch to 16" if i can, but im unsure if there are any 16" rims out there that will go over my current break setup ???????. i quite like the comp mo`s ( 6 spokes ).

cheers and i hope everythings clear now

like i say, im using 17" at the mo and clearance is fine, but if i know a 16" rim will go over my brakes then the offset of the new chosen 16" will have to be right............christian, what wheels are you using at the mo mate with those brakes ??????.

I have 325mm discs with hi-spec billet calipers and they fit nicely behind my 16" Comp MO's!!

Theres a resto thread in the resto room if you want to see. Have a search under my user name.

Cheers

Gary
