I NEED TO PUT A 5 SPD GEAR SELECTOR AND GEARBOX INTO A MK3 ESCORT.

Car is x reg escort was orginally a 1.1 ohv 4sp gearbox and has a different selector from what is fitted to the mk3 later rs turbo and xr3i that had the 5sp setup etc

does anyone know if there were different selector designs fitted to the sporty mk3

i.e rs turbo a reg to c reg does it have the same design on selector bolts to floorpan with four bolts plastic housing

xr3 early one's were 4 sp then changed to xr3i 5sp at c reg I think?

anyone got pics of their floorpans showning gear selector from top or underneath
