replacing s1 driver seat foam
hi folks
got the centre section for the drivers seat base on route to me via capital seating.
anyone give me some idea how to get the original foam out of the seat, have had a quick look at it and I cant see how i can do it
can get the leg extender part off ok.
do i need to go from underneath and take out the ribber diaphram bit 1st ?
anyone got any tips, or do i need to throw money at a trimmer.
thanks in advance

it will be easier to take the seat out your doing first.
firstly take the back of the seat off theres only two spring clips that hold it on under the plastic covers.
pull the bit out at the front of the seat and have a look under there you should see 2 metal "R" clips (so called because there the shape of an R) take both of these out then the front part should slide all the way off and the rest of the seat foam should come with it just take your time peeling it back as there might be some little metal rings going into the frame itself but there easy to take off with a pair of long nose pliers there might be another way but i did mine this way & i'd of thought series 1 seats would be the same.
one last thing aware of the staples as there bloody sharp.
