I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!

batt light
right ive had a problem with the car just not starting not even turning over!
changed the starter motor etc still does it every now and again
gone out this morning the batt light dint come on but the car started and still the same now any ideas?

As above, check the blue wire from the back of the alternator up to the dash.
If you take the blue wire off the back of the alternator earth the connection/wire on to the engine block does the light come on?
If it does then its most proably the alternator at fault.
If the light does not come on then there is a fault in the trigger wire (blue) circuit somewhere or the bulb has blown in the instrument cluster.

Dissconnect blue wire from back of alternator, does the light go out?
If yes then the alternator is faulty and i would also suggest replacing the diode in the trigger wire.
If the light does not go out with the blue wire disconnected then the blue wire is shorted to earth somewhere.
If yes then the alternator is faulty and i would also suggest replacing the diode in the trigger wire.
