Well my rad is well and truly fooked so i need a new one, thing is, i cant really afford an alloy one, and am gonna get a new normal one, will this be ok to run over 200bhp and 15psi? Or will i have to sell my gran and get an alloy one.

Also, i think the ERST fan is shit and was wondering if there are any others that people recommend?

 

new rad is fine, np. get it recored, mine was Ł35 and they go upto bout Ł50 i think, just as good as new!!!

make sure your plastic tanks on either side of the rad are ok and not leaking as the majority of places that recore rads use your old plastic tanks. One of my tanks started leaking a little while ago so I got a brand new ford rad, the first 2 that turned up were damaged but the 3rd was ok......or so I thought !!! had it fitted and within a few days it was leaking Cars at the garage now getting it sorted ..........I assume you get some sort of gaurentee when you buy brand new parts from ford ie. a rad !!!, can anyone confirm ?

and yeah u be able to run that power on standerd rad!...i do!
