ecu chips,performance chips?

i keep hearing the saying stage 1, stage 2 ect. i thought a chip was a chip. i didnt think you could get different levels. what do they do more than a stage 1?

stage 1 will only let you run 1bar of boost
stage 2 what ever your engine can take

Varies from tuner to tuner. Some have boost limits, some dont. That ecu only does advance and boost cut. Fuel is totally manual either way so make sure a pro sets it up.
