did it start to do it when you fitted the group a coil.the thing is i have a mate with mint saph cossie and it ran mint, then started missing similar to yours if not the same .Well what is was, was the group a coil he put the polarity the wrong way round on the two spade connectors, the car still drove ok but when it was warm and he put fut down it started to boost and then backfired like hell, changed the polarity around to what it should be and it runs 100%,we just didnt think it was the coil as it was new, well worth looking at like i say the same symtoms as what we had.

I talk with scortpower and he said that maybe is pump problem. I remember this yesterday when my new rst came. when I get contact and fuel pump prime (on my old rst where I have problem), after about 15 second fuel pump will prime again when I turn key.

BUT on "new" rst , system hold pressure more than 30 second!

So that maybe mean that my pump is too weak and pressure falls to early?
or... leaking injector(s) ?

Today I changed pump. I noticed little better going expecially in lower rpms.
car going better, but now I have poping from exhaust, I thing because of more fuel. and now metering flap is harder to push down then or old pump. and flap is still hard after 15 minutes when I turn off engine. I will go set mixure at load , but I am happy fow now

EDIT: changed injectors and dizzy. Set ignition timing to 12 deg with map hose disconnected. Now cars going much better.

I have spare dizzy so I change it yesterday and go set ignition at 12 deg map hose off. After change fuel pump and set ignition no problems. I stay on line with golf 2 2.0 16V and we go same. I hope this is good for standard engine/boost.

As you told me the fueling is fine on your wideband AFR and you checked and set the timing, and still had the issue's,
a new fuel pump, dissy or timing. should not of changed the way it run.

yes, logically there isnt reason for run beter. But it goes better. I set good afr with lambda but when I change fuel pump and injectors from donor car I noticed that car runs different. No more problem with hot start and metering head flap is staying hard to push after hours of standing. before flap will be out of pressure after 15 min after engine turn off. Like somewhere was loosing fuel pressure. And after I change dizzy car runs strange so I go set timing. After that , car runs much better.

then I told him that must use biggest mark. so maybe my first seting ignition was wrong because mechanics

Mechanics said that he have wideband. Numbers on display are quick changing when I accelerating. I will visit him soon for check afr again, after I change fuel pump, injectors and dizzy.
