driving my car this morn and it just cut out wouldn't restart, checked it over and there was no spark, took dizzy off and oil was in there cleaned it out and fiddled with leads and it restarted, any ideas as why oil was in dizzy 0 ring seal gone??????? any help appreciated

The o-ring is to prevent oil leaking from the head between the dizzy into the engine bay. Inside the dizzy there's another seal that prevents oil leaking down the dizzy-shaft. This one is likely to be knackered in your case.

It's not an easy job to dismantle the dizzy (and don't know if you can order a new seal), another dizzy could solve your problem. Had this on mine and went to the breakers where I found an Orion 1.4 with Hall ignition and under the bonnet there was a MINT dizzy. Maybe you're lucky as well......

cheeRS for replys but how do you change to coil packs and what coil pack would be the best to use thanx?

it aint as eay to change to coil pack if your on mfi it can be done though for about 100 pound cant remember what you need though i looked in to it but never done it
