Default what could they have done to my s1

got my s1 erst tuned and the tuner didnt really fully explained what hed done to the car, he sort of tip toed around the subject ive gain 40 bhp which is good but...it boosts to 1 bar without a chip !!!! which is unusual for an rs coz it usually cuts out at that pressure so im told. it only boosts for about 2 seconds at 1 bar then tails of to 0.8 bar. but when the boost comes in the takes of like its got nitrous. dont have a clue what theyve done any ideas ?
oh yeah he mentioned something about restrictors in the amal valve and bypassing them or the valve all together summat like that i dunno anyone shed some light on it for me . cheers people

Hello

with the amal valve you can alter the boost without touching the actuator by increasing or decreasing the jet sizes, it sounds like hes put an extra jet in the airbox port which will give you the 2 seconds at 1 bar (spike) and left the compressor port standardish. By the time the overoost senses the extra boost its already on its way down. Although a held 0.8bar is about 12 psi are you sure its not chipped?
I had a similar problem on my S1 until i played with the jets and now it spikes at 16 and holds 15 psi. If yours is chipped do the same by altering the compressor jet to hold 15 psi

Clear as mud LOL

You can easily fool the MAP-sensor in the ESC II with a bleeder. This is quite common around here.

Best way to do it is whip the ECU out an have a quick look inside, make sure you disconnect the battery first though!
