COUPLE OF PROBS WITH MY S2 RST
Alright folks
Just swopped the interior over in my series 2 for a 90 spec one, looks good, but now when i start it it wont switch off you can take the keys out and drive it!, the only things electrical that where touched where the window switches, and i serviced it so changed dizzy cap, rota arm etc... the only way to stop it is to stall it , disconnect the battery or pull the oil filler cap off.
My next question is should it cut out when the filler cap is removed?
Ant what should the oil pressure be, mine about 35-38 psi standinding still and about 28 when its moving.
If anyone can enlighten me i would be grateful,

The running on sounds like a bad earth on the ignition circuit. Check around all the earth connections.
As for the running with the cap off, means you have a decent engine
