Default HELP!!!

i have got a diesel mk4 escort van that i am converting to rst power, i bought an engine complete with loom, but the person who removed the loom cut the wires just under the fuse box, is it possible to now join the rst loom and fuse box to the diesel loom, i dont no were to start or wat to do, any help would be great

not sure mate if the boxes are the same then maybe trhen maybe youd be cheaper buying a loom with the fuse box init

wouldnt have thought it would be possible, rs turbo uses loads of wires out the fuse box to run the injection system and ecu... better of just gettin a complete loom from a turbo and just splicing the rear loom of the van into it...

No it doesn't but as said above would be a lot easier and a lot less headache to replace whole loom

if ive read this right it should be possible as all the wires that go into the inside of the car shouldnt be any differant to an rs as there for things like the dash lights and fan blowers i would of thought it would just be a case of matching colour to colour dont quote me on that though the person you want to speak to is safe chav on here.

well no the s1 and s1 have different looms and there both different form any other loom so unless you have the right fuse box and loom it aint going to be easy

hi, when i built my rst van i spoke to peeps like jamie @jamsport and other ford tuners as i thought ov chopping my loom in aswell, they all said it can be done but beta to put hole loom in for reliabity so when you get a running problem in the future u no its not the join ect, hope this helps mate.....

Some of the wiring will match up, but the main fuel pump wires won't be in your loom etc.

Depending on how confident you are with electrics let that be the deciding factor.
