Default 16" Alloys with 50mm Drop Pic Request

anyone have a set of 16" alloys with a 50mm drop on them, just want to get a rough image on how it will look, if you have pics of your escort could you plz post it up.

why do you want to go that low for its going to handle like a bang of shit, 25 -30mm is the best if you want looks & want it to handle like it should do.

Mine's been lowered 25mm and has 16s, and even on the stiffest setting the tyres still rub on the rear arches from time to time!

I would say 25mm is sufficient - it handles like a beauty and looks pretty smart too

25mm is my prefrence too on the escort and 35mm on the fiesta.

They do handle well low - providing the geometry is reset. But, on modern roads, with speed humps etc - it soon becomes a pain.

Totaly correct - you HAVE to reset the toes, but you can reduce bump steer by approx 75% at the front and dial out most of the toe-in on bump at the rear. So on fast A roads and track the car handles better.
