Thanks for looking i bought a xr3i with a turbo lump. When i bought if of my mate it was running like a dog. When you try to throttle it it builds up the revs but it,s realy lumpy. I changed the plugs leads dizzy cap and rotor arm like you would but no difference. Then by chance the metering unit packed in so iv been waiting for about 3 months for one coz of ebay muppets. Got sick of waiting so me and my mate went in halfs for a ROTTEN rst to break up.
Right put the metering unit on and back to stage one running like a dog.
Seeing i have all the parts to make it run i changed one part at a time the ecu, fuel ecu, and coil. I am proper stumped is there anything else it could be. My mate used to rag the nuts off it could he have blown somthing to make it run so bad and what? Any advise would help alot
Thanks for looking
chris
