Default Drag slicks

Anyone heard how do standard RST boxes survive start on drag slicks... any stories from Santa pod or something?

At the moment I'm running standard box with AP 4 paddle disc and Toyo 888 and it seams to be fine, but I want to improve my 60 ft so was wondering about Mickey Thompson drag slicks.... but was told that boxes brake with them... so has anyone heard real story or is it just the bullocks?

Some time ago I had BF Goodrich Drag radials, but Toyo's are better Hope MT will be even better and I don't brake anything. The car is much lighter then standard RST so... will see
