setting up the distributor

Default setting up the distributor

I took my distributor off and was wondering how i set it up with it back on, do i need to take the cambelt off and get it all to top dead centre or can i do it by just unscrewing the dizzy and moving it up or down?? thanks

not sure i didnt need to the guy that done my enigine knows cvh engines like the back of his hand

If you didnt mark the position of the distributor in relation to the head before you removed it then you are going to need a timing light to get the distributor (ignition timing) back to the correct setting.
