Default Light Issues....

I'm having some issues with my headlights and am sick of fiddling with wires. then i saw these in Performance Ford. I'm tempted to ditch the OE lights and replace with these , i was wondering if anyone has fitted these or anything similar, what's everyone else's opinion, worth doing or not???

a guy I work with, has a mondeo and he fitted some of these xenon style headlight kits a hundred and odd quid off ebay or something.

Loook just like the real thing, came comlete with power pack and everything!!

So bright in fact, he gets flashed a lot of the time by other drivers, who think he is still on main beam.

Proper xenon lights are supposed to be self leveling, which is controled by micro switches on the front and rear suspension arms, so's not to dazzle people.

Sometimes a good idea to just get a set of 90/130's or similar and wire them through a relay.

For me i dont have an issue with how bright my lights are.. i can see just fine at night (WHEN THE DAMN THINGS WORK) which is why i 'm tempted to go for the xenons..

my lights are weird one minute they work fine the next i flick on side lights and my dipped headlights come on (BUT VERY VERY DIM) and one more click to goto dipped head and they go off completely.. but when they do work they are fine.. glad they where having a moment of working when it went for MOT

Jesus! could probably see your car from the moon!!

Nothing worse than having poor headlights though,
Used to really put me off driving at night!

Uprated bulbs is one of the best mods I ever did.

What problems are you having now?

Thats just going to inflame the situation when you spend all that cash and still have issues, get back to basics and fix the fault before upgrading anything!
