Default help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

im rebuilding my s2 engine, wen i took the sump off a bit of plastic and a spring came off, so i went to my local ford, they couldnt tell me wot it was, n also the haynes manual dont show a pic of it, but i think its a cover of sum sort for the crank breather, was just wondering if any one can tell me wer it goes so i can get on wiv the build.

sorry for chav speak, i kinda just do it lol

it's the crankcase ventalator and just it clips into block below the rear breather pipe.

It's actually a baffle plate to stop the oil itself coming up the breather.

It goes under the crankcase breather connection as is a bit of a fiddle to get in, especially with the crank etc in. It must go in the right way and once it's in it will make sense!!
