Engine development was by Geoff Page of RS200 fame who at the time was working for Terry Hoyle Engineering who had the commission from Ford Motorsport to supply all of the group 'A' rally engines for the rally program and includes full Group ‘A’ cylinder head, Cosworth forged pistons, Cosworth steel billet con-rods, Cosworth steel billet crankshaft, Cosworth inlet and exhaust valves, Group ‘A’ injectors, Group ‘A’ QD radiator, Group ‘A’ intercooler, Group ‘A’ Garrett turbo with 0.48" housing, Group 'A’ metering head, Group ‘A’ air box & intake scoop, Group ‘A’ fuel injectors, oil breather system, Gull-wing sump, Group ‘A’ engine & fuel management system, Currently set at 235bhp but capable of approaching the 300bhp mark
