Is this a sign of Headgasket Failure?
was on the motorways yesterday and as soon as i reached over seventy (say 90MPH) i could smell the burning water smell or something, is that a differenate sign of the headgasket blown or on its way out?

Sounds like its good old cvh rst smell to me mate. 
Only start worrying when you see a shit load of smoke pouring
out of the back or if the engine just says no and dies

check if ur heater core ent on its way out i had same smeell even thow its normal buy then my heater core blew a hole nothing to worry thow matee
