Parts required to convert onion to turbo?
Well, there is a slight possibillity that I may be gettin an orion for £150, so my thoughts quite quickly turned into what parts I would need to convert it to a turbo?!!
I would wanna do this as cheap as chips, no expensive forged pistions / rods etc... forget it! lol
Anyway, here's what I can think of that I would need.
ECU (Any type?)
Loom
Turbo
Turbo manifold
I/C
Hoses of some sort
Decompression plate
Well, I have these parts "lying around" ...
T28 Turbo (Off EsCos)
Pace I/C (Off S2 ERST)
Megasquirt ECU
ERST Loom
What else do I need ?, Does anyone know what amount of boost I can run on standard pistions ? 10 psi ?
What power do you think I would get? 150-160 bhp ?
