skimmed zetec pistons

okey i know they aint perfect but is anyone here using skimmed pistons in there zvh. read a guide on some quantum page and the guy said he skimmed hos pistons .5mm what would be the benefit of skimming 1mm off instead cheeRS

got 1 mm of my 1.8 zvh and there no probs
