I need a complete gearbox for the track car i'm building.
So i have a two options:
1. Buy a second hand S1 box, slap it in and see how long it lasts then get it rebuilt (Or get it rebuilt first).
2. Get an MTX75 kitted out with a quaife ATB seeing as the car is just a bare shell being prepped at the moment (Would be easy to carry out the bodywork mods)
The MTX75''s are considered stronger than the turbo boxes as Safechav says, so although im not planning on running silly power (Yet!?!) at least i know it will take the abuse. (My S2 turbo is on its 3rd standard Ford box and is just nudging 200bhp).
So, thats why im considering the MTX75
