Has anyone experience using xr3i engine on turbo project?I thought that if skimming pistons 1mm is that enough for turbo use?Would the std pistons and rods take round 200 hv use long run?
Other issue is how is the turbo oil taken from engine and return?

This has been done time and time again in Finland. Because of the shape of the XR3i pistons, 1mm doesn't do much. If you take the entire dome away, you will have a piston that is exactly the shape and size as a RST piston. It will take 200hv, but certainly not as lightly as RST pistons which have been done with a different casting process.
The turbo oil feed and return is best and easiest done exactly like in a RST.

ford cvh pistons do not like boost , ive got the remains of a set in my garage. the ring lands are weak!!!!
if you are building on a budget(like myself due to buying a house and more recently a Scooby) , you could try what i have done.
use vw golf 1600cc pistons(80.950MM with really good ring lands)
use vw beetle bushes on the rods(the pins are smaller)
take 4mm of your block
remove 5mm off your head bolts
efi inlet manifold , gotech and 500cc injectors , t34 , vernier
the car to tune down here is a golf , so parts are readily available and bloody cheap
im aiming for over 200bhp
